Jay Mukker, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist and wound management specialist with nearly 20 years of experience in foot and ankle care. At Advanced Food Care and Clinical Research Center in Fresno and Madera, California, Dr. Mukker delivers patients lasting relief from foot and ankle pain through comprehensive wound care and diabetic foot care.
Dr. Mukker hails from Canada but completed his undergraduate studies in 1999 at the University of Fresno in Fresno, California, where he studied biological sciences with an emphasis on cellular and molecular biology.
In 2003, he earned his doctorate in podiatric medicine from the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California. Dr. Mukker completed his podiatric medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Hospital, which has locations throughout the United States.
Dr. Mukker later completed a second podiatric medicine and surgery residency at VA Palo Alto/Stanford Hospitals in Palo Alto, California. Today, he focuses on providing comprehensive foot and ankle care through MLS® laser therapy, custom orthotics, and shockwave therapy. He treats all conditions that affect the lower extremities, including gout and bunions.
Outside of Advanced Foot Care and Clinical Research Center, Dr. Mukker is active in research development for new foot and ankle procedures and devices. He is multi-lingual and fluent in English, Punjabi, and Spanish. Dr. Mukker is excited to help relieve pain and restore function to his patients’ feet and ankles.
