About Gavin Lee, DPM

Gavin Lee, DPM, is a board-qualified foot and ankle surgeon at Advanced Foot Care and Clinical Research Center in Fresno and Madera, California, where he diagnoses and treats adult and pediatric conditions. Dr. Lee provides comprehensive care for feet and ankles, specializing in diabetic foot care and wound care.

Dr. Lee graduated in 2012 from the University of California, Davis, in Davis, California, with a Bachelor of Science in evolution, ecology, and biodiversity and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. In 2017, he earned his doctorate in podiatric medicine at the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California. 

After graduation, Dr. Lee completed his foot and ankle specialty residency at Kaiser Permanente North Bay Consortium, which took him to hospitals throughout the San Francisco Bay Area in California.

Dr. Lee continues to sharpen his skills by completing new certifications and training courses in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. His education and training have helped him offer patients comprehensive care for all forms of foot and ankle conditions, including gout, hammertoes, and neuropathy. In addition to arthroscopic surgery, he performs MLS® laser and shockwave therapy.

Along with his experience, Dr. Lee belongs to many professional organizations, including the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, where he is a diplomat. He also holds certifications as a radiography and fluoroscopy X-ray supervisor, operator, and advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS).

Outside of work, Dr. Lee enjoys trying new foods, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new places. He is thrilled to see new and returning patients at Advanced Foot Care and Clinical Research Center.
